Having decided that you need a website for your business, how do you proceed?
The first thing you need to do is begin building a blueprint in your mind and on paper of how and what you would like to include on your site.
The blueprint will be broad and unordered at first. Don't worry about that
You will revise, rewrite, reorder many many times in an effort to acheive
the perfect website. By the way it does not exist. You can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people all of the time.
Next you will need to request a proposal. What is that you ask? You give us lots of information about your business and your needs in a website. We will then work up a proposal for your approval.
We need to understand what it is that you want built therefore it follows that you need to know what it is that you desire.
This is a back and forth process in which you start with basic information about your business, we ask lots of questions in order to get on the same page as you. When we decide that we have an idea of what you want we put together a proposal(s) for your consideration. Upon your written approval and receipt of at least half of our fee, we will then begin building your site using your copy, pictures, or what have you. When
we near 50% completion the remainder of our fees will be due.
Note that we are here to build your site not to write your content, take pictures of your product, create a
movie explaining what it is that you do or how something works. We will do those things if you so desire.
Remember this however the more we have to do the more it is going to cost you. So do your home work!
If you would like us to provide copy for your site we will. What is copy you ask? You are reading copy at this
very moment. Preferably you will provide us with an outline of the topic for each page.
We are more than willing to help you where we can. We are just a phone call or email away. Even if you
decide to build your own site we will answer any questions you may have (if we know the answer) but
customers come first. You are a business person you should understand.
We don't like surprises, nor do you. (especially when they come in the form of a bill) So let us know exactly
what you are expecting and need from us and we will do the same. We strive to over-deliver our services
therefore we do not nit-pic when it comes to charges. We have been known to throw in a freebi here and there.
